I really wasn't expecting a cover, not for a little novella that's part of the Advent Calender, but I got one. Cover! Cookies!

Cover! With Cookies!

It's just not Christmas if you aren't forced to make cookies at some point. (Okay, this is blatantly untrue, but just the same, trust me, I will end up making cookies for gifts for people some time in December.)

A Wealth of Unsaid Words $3.99

By R. Cooper

Alex has always known his bipolar disorder made him too flawed for his boyhood hero, Everett. So when his feelings for Everett became overwhelming, he forced a separation that saddened them both but gave Alex the clarity he needed. Now a year has passed, and he and Everett are together again when Everett’s noisy, imperfect family reunites for Christmas, pulling Alex into their chaotic warmth the way they always have. Can Everett convince Alex that, in spite of his fears, starting a relationship would make for the perfect holiday?

Comes out, what? December 1, I believe.

Oh damn. Now I want cookies. And I really need a foodporn icon for my livejournal. Hmm.

Sinjah made me want apples. I don't know what's wrong with me.

I am freaking out...but mostly in the sense that I don't have anything else coming out because of my current writing stupidness.

plainapple made me want a bacon burger. We are just very very suggestible when it comes to food I guess.

Cookies and burgers...I really shouldn't.

Somebody on my Goodreads friends list is reading one of your books right now and I saw it this morning and thought of you. Room At The Top.

For some reason, I feel so proud when I make people crave some kind of food XD

And you do it all the time, too. :P

(The apple was great, btw.:)

Your current writing is stupidness?
Whaaaat?

We are *riduculously* suggestible. Every time somebody mentions food, we want it. It doesn't even matter what kind it is. :)
(I should not be surprised, we do this with fic too.)

I'mma make cookies now.

I am not currently writing anything is what I meant. (Though the other day I was like, well so as not to waste time, I will edit that little Cherry Pop thing. ....Totally forgetting that it was over 60k. Seriously, when did it get that long.)

I WANT COOKIES.

No, no, it's okay. I will be lazy later and make brownies. I have a mix.

Those cookies look tasty don't they?

Whee! Unless they're the one who just gave it two stars in which case, meep :-)))

Yeah, that 'little' Cherry thing.:)

Brownies should only be made from mix. If you do them the old fashioned way, you have to acknowledge how much unhealthy stuff goes in the batter. And that's not cool.

Someone just gave it two stars? I haven't read it, but I doubt that rating is accurate. :)

Yeah there's not cocoa or sugar or butter or cholesterol filled eggs in those brownies. Never!

Yay walnuts! Yay!

Aww, thank you! :;hugs:: Well, mileage varies is the only constant. It's had a great reception overall, so the occasional reader who didn't enjoy it is just one of those things. The review was thoughtful and not a flame so it's all good.
