I'm not sure why accusations (if false...always the important part) of plagarism aren't followed swiftly by libel suits.
I can enjoy a work...even if it's derivative, and I can hate a book without attacking the author. I'm just not sure why anyone would need to cater to the kids that snickered in the background of every school cafeteria. Yes, you have the freedom to say whatever you want, but you should have the compassion to realize that cruel words hurt (and don't add anything to the discourse).
I read your works and blogs often, but I rarely comment. This post really spoke to me though, and I wanted to say Thank You! More people need to be reminded that there is a HUGE difference between critique and cruelty.
