Godric! Precious Godric. I still the idea of the AU of him that someone suggested. Modern Day, with Godric as a bodyguard sent to protect Bertie, and living in his house with him, and unf, all that sexual tension, but also just Godric almost immediately falling in love with this bright, friendly, kind person who only seems silly when you don't know him at all. And Bertie just head over heels for serious, serious Godric. Godric would totally take a bullet for him.
But in the actual story too. Bertie longing to shower Godric in kisses and then finally getting the chance to do it. Spending hours while Godric is healing and stuck in bed, just lying next to him while Godric pets his hair and calls him, "my lord" in his soft, respectful, adoring way.
