I.... have never been compared to Les Mis before. I don't know how to respond to that without blushing or staring at you in amazement. (Which I am doing, even if I can't actually see you. Trust me. It's happening.)
I like reading books that I understand differently the second time I read them. So that's what I try to do. Maybe not the deepest stories, but I love reading a story and then rereading it and noticing how meanings have changed, and everything has a new emphasis.
Probably kind of a silly thing to do in the romance field, but I can't seem to stop. :)
