Oh my God, that is gorgeous! Aaaah, much better than I expected - the painted effect really makes a big difference. Cal's little wiiings! And Ray is verreh hot.
The lighting and all the sparrrrkles and the golden glow is so lovely, I can't look away! (This is so a cover that would make me pick up the book even if I knew nothing about it.)
Now, when you're working hard in grad school and you're tired and you're maybe losing faith and need inspiration, I want to think of Cal fluttering over your shoulder, raining glitter down on you and telling you dirty stories about how much Ray loves his candy flavored semen.
"Sometimes I slip a little into his travel mug in the morning to sweeten his coffee. You think he'd appreciate it but he says it's hard to drive with a hard-on which I think is ridiculous and I'm sure I could do it if fairy's were allowed to drive but the DMV has some weird and totally unfounded prejudice that we're too distractible as a species which is just wron... HEY! something just occurred to me! Cake!!!"
If fairies drove there'd be dozens of abandoned cars in the middle of every highway from the numerous times the fairies decided they'd rather fly that day.
Well after a while he gets that Ray does love him. He's just starting to wonder if Ray has some weird medical problem. I can see him researching impotence and ED issues and trying to slip viagra into Ray's coffee.
You are sweet. And seriously, just wait until the day when I actually have money (grrr taxes grrrr) I am SO snatching up so many of my friends' books. You don't even know.
I know! Ebooks are cheaper but not by much and I have so many friends who write that it's impossible to buy all the ones I want (though I'm definitely getting this one :-))
I'm lucky in that I get asked to review a lot for Torquere so I do get to read quite a few great books for free that way.
Oh, I read constantly. I'm a book a day girl always have been. If you're going off Goodreads though, I'm slowly rating any books I remember reading as well as ones that I'm actually reading. I'm currently working through the Kim Harrison series, rereading Mary Stewart, and dipping into some m/m romances I got for free (Amazon and other places feature ebooks for free, one day only, and there's a site I check that lists them so I pick them up for my Kobo: http://blog.booksontheknob.org/
And I'm a stay at home mom so I have plenty of free time. Well, technically, there's housework as well as writing to do, but eh.
I love my Kobo; got one for Christmas after dropping hints for years. Glad I waited though, because this one's wireless enabled or somesuch, which is handy.
I've got competition though; we can download ebooks from the local library and I put some children's ones on it for Lauren so Lauren is currently hogging it ;-)
Meh, don't worry about the beta if you're busy/stressed/would rather not. I love your reactions, but you know me, if you wait long enough you'll end up with a new version anyway.
I already have thoughts about changing the ending. :)

I admit, that did not occur to me! And yet, I never once imagined any fairy driving anywhere. This makes perfect sense!
Poor Ray. He's like Pavlov's werewolf with the scent of candy. Popping boners left and right.

Ray never stood a chance. Not one chance.

It's cute that he thought he did right? So cute.

Not realizing that of course, his come would do.

I read when at the computer, it's just that it's not very comfortable.
