I made orange scones yesterday and maybe I went crazy with the sugary glaze but I can't seem to focus today. I can't decide what to work on, I'm just fluttering around the internet and dancing around to Britney Spurrrr's new album.

I did glance around at a few publishing sites to see if any of their upcoming submission requests would inspire me. And Dreamspinner and Circlet are both doing pirate themed anthologies...and considering what got me into this genre, it seems a shame not to do something piratey. But then...it seems so cliche. Hmmm.

Meanwhile there's this random novella that just came out of my brain a few weeks ago and it really needs to be edited and given a better ending...not that I have any idea who would take it for publication. And I was considering expanding "My Man Godric"...and then waffling because it would get a little darker that way...then thinking that would be awesome...then waffling again.

Damn you delicious sugary orange glaze! You gave me the flails!!!

(Or I just turn into a mess when between projects. You know, the logical answer).

I would have preferred lemon scones (which are my favorite) but I didn't have lemons, I had oranges.
