I like how the people at gmail decided that using words to describe things was too much of a hassle, so they just went with pictures instead. Very Ancient Egypt of you, Google. You're right, a weird crooked arrow is much clearer than the word "reply". You've really simplified everything, or dumbed it down, whatever.

God, I kept the "new gmail" for all of a minute before I changed back to the old version. I seriously don't understand why gmail and other programs have to change everything to pictures. Because people can't read the simple words like "back" and "reply". Frankly, I think if they can't read those words what are they even doing with a computer?

I had other issues with the new version like completely being unable to read anything in the left hand column because it was all so light it blended in perfectly with my background. I'm going to seriously cry when they force me to switch over.

The colors are pretty terrible. Why so bright? It doesn't illuminate their stupid pictures any better.

I did it just to make their pop up go away but now there's a new pop up constantly asking me for feedback. I just might give it to them.

I guess Google is trying to look more like Apple. Safari has those symbols because there's not enough room for words on the interface, especially on a small iPhone screen. They don't make sense when their function is already written there though.

That's sad, trying to look like another program, when the other program at least has reasons for why it looks like that. Sad google.
